Crefeld Connects

In this community service, we go to different site visits and host a blog to highlight our service and learning as well as that of other community services. Currently, we’re sponsoring a clothing / toy drive for Cradles to Crayons, a non-profit that provides clothing and toys for children 12 and under. In this effort, we are creating marketing materials for the drive, including our blog, and working through the elements of coordinating this event.

Wyck House Objectives by Gillian

Today, I researched different kinds of plants to put in the garden at the Wyck. One of the flowers I noticed was popular during the 1800s were hydrangeas. The objective of the Crefeld School Garden is to design and install a historical garden at the barnyard area at the Wyck. We want to make the garden historically accurate by planting flowers and other kinds of plants that were popular during the era of the 1800s.
